The NEEWER Q4 400Ws is a portable flash designed for studio and outdoor photography. It offers 400Ws of power and a high GN72 guide number, making it ideal for everything from portraits to more demanding fashion and product shots. The compact housing, weighing about 2.24 kg, makes it easy to carry, and the comfortable handle allows for comfortable work outside the studio. HSS synchronization of up to 1/8000s and a very short flash duration of up to 1/10989s help freeze motion and capture images even in bright daylight.

High capacity battery and fast continuous shooting

The flash is equipped with a 21.6V lithium battery with a capacity of 2800mAh, which provides about 400 flashes at full power. A short recycle time of 0.01 to 1.2 seconds allows for smooth operation during dynamic shooting. The ability to shoot in burst mode at up to 20 frames per second makes this model suitable for sports, event and reportage photography. An additional advantage is the ability to power the flash from the mains using the included adapter.

Precise light control and advanced flash modes

The NEEWER Q4 supports TTL, Manual and Multi modes, allowing you to easily adapt the workflow to the type of photograph. Adjusting the power from 1/1 to 1/256 in 0.1 stop increments allows precise control of flash intensity. The strobe mode allows up to 100 flashes with a frequency of up to 199Hz, offering more possibilities for creative motion shots. The flash also supports synchronization on the first and second curtains, as well as S1 and S2 modes, which facilitate coordination with other light sources.

LED pilot light with natural color rendering

The integrated 30W LED pilot light with a 5600K color temperature helps evaluate the lighting setting before taking the photo. The high CRI of 95+ translates into a more natural color rendering, important for product and portrait photography. Thanks to the preview of the shadows and the direction of the light, it is easier to set the scene and reduce the number of test flashes.

Wireless communication and wide compatibility

The model uses the NEEWER 2.4G Q wireless system with a range of up to 100 meters. Support for 32 channels and 5 groups allows convenient control of a larger lighting setup. The flash can also work with the Godox 2.4G X system in RX COMPACT mode and is compatible with the Sekonic L-858D light meter with RT-GX module. Compatibility with Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras makes it easy to integrate with popular photographic systems.

Bowens attachment and practical operation

Using a standard Bowens attachment allows you to use popular light modifiers, such as softboxes, reflectors or beauty dishes, without additional adapters. An integrated fan helps with cooling during intensive use, and a dot matrix display improves the ease of adjusting settings. The manufacturer has also equipped the flash with a USB-C port for software updates, an automatic energy saving function and an acoustic signal that indicates readiness for the next flash.
